Auburn vs. Oregon for the BCS Title

Auburn and Oregon have been traveling down the same road towards a shot at the BCS National Championship for over a month now.   These two teams have undoubtedly proven they belong in this game and deserve the opportunity to fight to be named the best.

The game will take place January 10th in Glendale, Arizona between #1 Auburn Tigers and #2 Oregon Ducks.  This will be the first match up between the two unbeaten universities. Auburn went (13-0) while winning the SEC championship and Oregon Ducks (12-0) won the Pac-10 title.

Now that all this Cam and Cecil Newton mess is for the time being behind the Tigers, the spotlight can be on athletes and the game rather than the drama off the field.  This to me is

Although TCU finished the season undeafeated (12-0) they have earned a BCS bowl berth.  The Horned Frogs will play the Big Ten Champion Wisconsin (11-1) in the Rose Bowl.  #4 Stanford (11-1) will play ACC champion Virginia Tech (11-2) in the Discover Orange Bowl.  The Allstate Sugar Bowl will have two at-large teams in Ohio State (11-1) and Arkansas (10-2).

The final BCS game will showcase Big 12 Champion Oklahoma (12-2) and Big East Champ UConn (8-4) in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
